Background
A Chinese-led private sector consortium was considering to establish a new Futures Exchange in Singapore; with a view to creating new financial risk management products for Singapore and global markets.
Our work involved supporting the management team in facilitating a better understanding of the licensing requirements by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), including fine-tuning initial communications with the regulators, as well as preliminary market feedback on the risk management needs of traders, corporates and hedge funds in Singapore.
